Tides hold promise of electricity.


Underwater currents could be harnessed to help light our homes, under a dream the Snohomish County PUD hopes will become reality.

These machines are amazing, and will be so beneficial to the ongoing global climate problems. I hope that over the near future they will have worked out the bugs, and have created tidal power turbines that harness the most energy from the ocean currents. This could be the solution to global warming, if the USA, Canada, China, and Europe counties who are the main contributors of pollution begin to harness their energy from the world’s oceans, and cut back on their coal, natural gas, and oil usage. I look forward to see the advances that come in this new technology, and hope they occur in the near future.
